NEUMA Commission Sales Program FAQ
Program Highlights
- You will only earn commission on sales made via the link you are provided—NO EXCEPTIONS!
- You do not need to be an existing NEUMA account to participate in this program
- All orders tied to your link will be reviewed prior to payment to ensure they meet program requirements
- If an applicant is not listed on the NEUMA salon locator, then they will be required to submit a copy of their license to apply
- This program is only available to salons and stylists in the United States. International participation is being researched. If the program expands internationally, an official announcement will be made.
Program Enrollment
- A current W-9 must be submitted in order to be approved. Please email it to shop@neumabeauty.com
- An ACH form must be filled out in order to be approved. Please email it to shop@neumabeauty.com
- A voided check or savings account deposit slip
- A copy of your cosmetology license
- All applications will be manually reviewed prior to approving or denying the application to ensure all required information has been provided and that the applicant is a salon professional
Payment
- NEUMA will only pay commission by ACH. Payment will be made every two weeks.
- Clients must shop from the link you provide in order for you to earn a commission.
- Commission will be paid on the net of the order, excluding tax and shipping and discounts to your customer. For example:

By submitting your application, you agree that you have read and accept the program guidelines outlined in this document.
NEUMA reserves the right to revoke application approval at any time, in writing, for any reason.
If you have any questions, please email shop@neumabeauty.com and someone will reach out to you within 24-48 hours or the next business day if submitted over the weekend.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this hurt my salon’s retail sales?
NO! It will actually help you make more money because your clients can shop at their convenience, instead of only when the salon is open.
The average salon in the US has 25% of clients buying retail, meaning that 75% are not buying ANYTHING from you. By participating in this program, you’re giving all of your clients more options to purchase from you.
While your salon may have more clients buying at the salon, how many can buy at the salon at night or when it’s closed on Sunday and Monday?
How much can I make per sale if I participate?
Another fun fact: customers at neumabeauty.com purchase DOUBLE the national average per transaction, so you’re potentially earning more per sale. For example:
· Example: purchase neuStyling mousse at the salon.
· Customer pays $25.00 + tax
· You earn $12.50 (after paying your distributor $12.50)
· Example: purchase 2 products at neumabeauty.com using your link:
· Customer pays $50 + tax
· You earn $10 with no cash outlay
· Example: purchase of 3 products at neumabeauty.com using your link:
· Customer pays $75 + tax
· You earn $15.00 with no cash outlay
Am I required to participate in this program?
Absolutely not. We understand that this program may not work for everyone. One question: what would it mean to you and your business if you could earn a commission on sales while you sleep or when the salon is closed?
What other brands are doing this?
Many professional brands offer affiliate commission sales programs for salon professionals, influencers and consumers.
I’m earning a higher commission from another brand. Why is that?
Every brand has different costs that go into supporting this type of program. We can’t speak to other brands' costs.
We know there are brands who pay more commission and there are brands that pay substantially less. We can assure you that we’ve run the numbers a variety of different ways to ensure this is a win-win for everyone.
Will participating hurt my professional status?
Absolutely not. Participating shows that you’re on the cutting edge of retail and have a strategy in place to grow your retail sales beyond the salon.
Will participating hurt the status of my account at my distributor?
It shouldn’t. They are two different accounts and don’t conflict with each other.
Can I add the exclusive link to my website?
Yes! There are graphics you can use on your website, in emails to your client database or social media in the Marketing Tools section after you log in to your dashboard.
What if my client is buying at amazon.com or some other dot-com?
Please tell your client that there are exclusive promotions at your salon and at neumabeauty.com that they can’t get at Amazon.
Clients buying at www.neumabeauty.com can also use a program called AfterPay to pay for their purchases over time. It’s kind of like lay-away for e-comm purchases for transactions of $35 or more.
Encourage them to see the value of shopping using your exclusive link.
Can I stop participating at any time?
Definitely. If you decide this program isn’t for you, please email shop@neumabeauty.com and we’ll deactivate your link. Your clients may still continue shopping at neumabeauty.com but you won’t earn a commission from the purchase.
Will this hurt my salon inventory levels or lower the amount I buy from my distributor?
It shouldn’t. People who shop in stores are different than people who shop online. By participating in the program, you’re providing customers with options that work best for them. Clients can also share your exclusive link with their friends and family so you continue to earn commissions on sales from people who aren’t you’re clients.
What do I say to my distributor sales rep when they ask me about it?
You can let them know that you’re expanding your retail options, and if they have any questions about the program, they can speak with their NEUMA regional director. Believing in NEUMA so much, we want everyone to use it. Why limit the number of people who can experience NEUMA?
The more successful salons are, the more options they have to participate in distributor programs. This is a win-win for everyone.
Would my distributor drop me if I participate?
We can’t imagine a scenario in which they would. In the extremely unlikely event they do discontinue your account, you can purchase directly from NEUMA at our exclusive pro website: www.neumabeautypro.com
Should you choose to purchase from www.neumabeautypro.com, you can also use AfterPay on transactions of $35 or more to spread your payments into four installments on the payment method of your choice.
Marketing Tools
Do you provide marketing tools for me to promote this opportunity to my clients?
Yes! When you log into your dashboard, you'll find artwork in the Marketing Tools section located on the left side navigation. It includes graphics for your website, to send an e-mail to your client database and an image you can use in Instagram posts and other social media.
